The first tip that I found very helpful during my first year of middle school was making a schedule. Having a schedule helped me to stay on time and get assignments in by the due date. It will also help to make things less stressful. Mornings can be rough, so having a schedule can alleviate pressure.A good way to maintain a schedule is to start it immediatly at the beginning of the school year. (This will make it seem like a normal part of your day.)

When the school year fully begins, you will most likely accumulate many papers. So it is very important to to keep it all organized.

The final tip is to stop procrastinating. Procrastinating can impact you in a very negative way. You will find that some big assignments are not due until a month later. But this does not mean that you start the project two days before it is due. It means that you can do a bit each week along with other assignments. Stopping your procrstinating will also help with the grades that you get. Late or missing assinments are already half credit. Assignments that are not worked on until the last minute are most likely not of great quality. Take your time and keep track of assignments.
